The designers of PS2 thought of just about everything when it
comes to this system. PS2 can play DVD movies
like the best of them, as well as it has the ability to hook
up things like external hard drives (costly but
it’s an option), digital cameras, videos, VRS (Voice
Recognition Systems), and a bunch more. PS2 also has the
ability to get you onto the Internet, and from what Planet42
hears, when PS3 comes out, you’ll be able to
download things such as firmware for your PS3 (latest updates
for your system), as opposed to always buying a
new system.
Because of all of this, there is no wonder why Sony has sold
over the 85 million units of the original
PlayStation. Sony has done this by catering to people of all
ages and producing a product that everyone has
come to enjoy whether you are a 20 year old cheerleader or a
45 year old programmer. You have to hand it to
Sony, they have done it all and will continue to do what they
do best…pleasing the masses.
Present

Such a beautiful machine…
PlayStation has a storied past and an even brighter future.
You can play loads of games, and the list of titles
that are on the shelves is so long it’s a challenge to keep up
with all of them. The improvements over the
original PS are highly visible. Below is a spec sheet so you
can see what you are getting when you buy a PS2.
