StarCraft didn't revolutionize the Real-Time
Strategy genre, but it sure does almost everything to perfection. The graphics will capture
your imagination, the sound will rock you to your seat, and the intensity of the gameplay is
non-stop heart pounding action. It all adds to one of the most addictive games in gaming
history. Most important of all, it has a compelling story line that will draw you and immerse
you into the Starcraft universe.
The game has all the elements of a true RTS: resource management, buildings, troop management,
researching and above all killer strategy. With so many specialized units and technologies to
choose from, you can develop some amazing strategy to crush your opponent. As for the game itself, you will immediately
be emotionally drawn |

to the plight of the ragtag Terrans, humans living on the edge of
existence, fighting for the ultimate survival of our species. You can share and sympathize
with the cause of the noble Protoss as they fight to preserve order and life in the universe.
And above all, you will love to hate the ignoble and ravenous Zerg as they seek to consume the
universe. The Zerg are the perfect enemy, they're blood thirsty, mindless, filthy, slimy,
treacherous, swarm in great numbers and you will love to squash them into a pile of gory blood.
At the hands of a capable commander, you could do just that with a large group of siege tanks
well supported by infantry or Reavers supported by Zealots and Dragoons.
The epic campaign is amazingly well thought out and detailed for all three races and the story
will keep you on the edge of your seat as the incredible and mesmerizing story unfolds one
mission at a time. It also prepares you well for the greatest challenge of all, Starcraft's
amazing multiplayer. Up to 8 players can play at the same time, against each other or in teams
or against the computer. Battlenet will keep track of your wins and losses so you can brag to
your friends or cower in shame.
