Get a good nights rest, you're gonna need it. . .Hatebreed has returned to destroy your ears and send you Spiralling into the mosh pits. The fruits of their labor are sweeter than ever in Perseverance. Hardcore music’s flagship band has jump record labels from victory to Universal and brings a volley of Metalcore to rip your esophagus open and pour acid on the wounds. The follow up to their first major satisfaction is the death of desire, Perseverance is sure to please.

Hatebreed has come quite a ways from their last cd. All of you, who know my reviews, know that the only good music is organized music. Ive said it before and I'll say it again. It sounds like garbage if it is not composed correctly. All the tracks on the cd sound much more heavy and full. It is loaded with angry lyrics aimed at the oppressed and forgotten. It has a message of resisting cruelty, and striking back. Most likely this is what earned the cd a parental advisory for explicit content. Nevertheless the cd is really good. Here is a sample of the lyrics:

A Call For Blood
"All their nightmares, all their pain
All their nightmares, all their misery
It’s all coming back to haunt you
Your time is up and you have nowhere to hide . . . "

Proven
"You wan to see me fail
You won’t get your chance.
This is deeper than blood.
It’s all that we have.
Proven"

With vocalist Jamey Jasta screaming and his ass-kicking band to back him up, this cd makes for an experience all in itself. Plus, for the low price of under 15 bucks you can’t lose. A word to the wise, if your a wuss and can’t handle metal or hardcore, save your money. Otherwise go get this cd A.S.A.P.. Finally a hardcore cd that could rise through the charts to a higher position is hopefully on its way.
