R. Kelly and Jay-Z have both accomplished the creation of unique style, superb sound, and a superior fan base. This combination has led each of these performers into "top" status for their respective genre. In this release, "The Best Of Both Worlds", these two masterminds have joined together for one smokin' album. This album is hot off the press, but we at Planet42 have the advanced copy review...you can read it here...first.

Tracks:   15 (@ ~ 55minutes)

"The Best Of Both Worlds" is an album that will be making waves soon after its store release, mark my words. Jay Z compliments R. Kelly perfectly and vice versa...the songs are catchy, the lyrics are well done, and the beats are hoppin'. The album offers so much depth for those who love r&b and rap.

"The 62nd Assassin...."

This album sounds like R. Kelly and Jay-Z have burned back to their roots ; roots of making music for the love. From Jay-Z's outlandish comments to R. Kellys smooth flow, you'll hear no disappointment...this album is one for the billboard. The album does an excellent job of intertwining the genres. R. Kelly will take the reigns of a track and let jay-z fill the feat and vice versa. The album offers everything from the softer side of R. Kelly to the hardcore love from Jay-Z, and everything in between.

"Pussy is one of the most powerful things in tha world..."

The album does have many hits (on my list), but on the other hand...some of the album is drab. This unworthy portion of the album keeps this release from the 5 planets rating, but it more than satisfies 4.5 planets. I am a hardcore music critic, thus, i am not feeding any bull. Of course this album isn't going to fit in everyone’s collection, but if your passion is either r&b and/or rap then you must pick this up. This is a must have, must see, must listen...thumbs up to both R. Kelly and Jigga.
